Collaboration with the Interactive Arts Lab In Arts of the Ionian University

The research characteristics of the lab co-exist in a theoretical and applied level through the dialectic combination of the two in the repetitive, formative or experimental process of creation. Consequently, substantial weight is given to the development of the methods of audiovisual research with an emphasis on the collection and analysis of audiovisual data and their semantic contribution to the space as a structure and to time as a form, beyond the originality of the results.

The Interactive Arts Lab has as its objective the audio and visual expression in the wider field of art and mass communication, as it is described in the establishing law of the department of Audio & Visual Arts (L. 3255/22-07-2004). The initiative for the foundation of the Laboratory has been set by the following members of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University: Marianna Strapatsaki, Konstantinos Tiligadis, Dalila Honorato, Andreas Giannakoulopoulos, Giannis Deligiannis and Tania Tsiridou.
