With more than 200 pedagogical and directing activities to her credit and academically combining theater, games, performance and business administration, Katia envisioned the creation of Homo Ludens, an ecosystem for the development of new forms of art and entertainment within the urban landscape and the wider public space.
Her thesis, within the framework of the postgraduate program "Theater Studies" of the Open University of Cyprus, with a specialization in Acting and Direction, focused on the triptych Art - City - Play, while studying the possibilities of participatory performance and modern digital technological media. Currently, she works in parallel as a theater pedagogy consultant and is a member of the artistic group Persona (More info here).
