Panagiotis Barmpagiannis

Occupational Therapist, MEd, PhDc

Panagiotis Barmpagiannis is an occupational therapist, systemic counselor, and theatre pedagogue. He works in secondary special education and mental health services. He is a founding member of Simeio – Space for Education and Therapy, where he facilitates interdisciplinary initiatives at the intersection of art, therapy, social inclusion, and education.
He teaches in higher education and has collaborated with artistic, academic, and therapeutic collectives across diverse contexts. His work focuses on participatory methods, embodiment, and narrative practices, aiming to foster community engagement and affective learning environments.
As Research Dissemination Manager at Homo Ludens, he coordinates actions related to the sharing, documentation, and cross-institutional collaboration of research emerging from the ecosystem. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Western Macedonia, researching art, posthumanism, and occupational therapy.
