Love is not enough
Homo Ludens, in collaboration with Athens Culture Net of the Μunicipality of Athens and in the framework of Athens Routes, organizes on Sunday, February 12, 2023, from 11:00 until 15:00, a pre-Valentine's event entitled "Love is not enough"!
Just you and I in this city.
How much do you really know about your partner?
What are you willing to do to face the challenges of relationships?
How do you resist temptations?
How can you practically prove that you are for each other?
These and many more are combined in a physical and digital terrain that proves that LOVE ΙS NOT ΕΝOUGH.
With intertextual references to e.e. cummings and Emily Dickinson as well as the plays of Joël Pommerat, the Homo Ludens ecosystem creates a participatory city performance as a game for Valentine's Day.
If you want to measure the temperature of your affair (or your impending affair), if you want to test the strength of your relationship, then, the Homo Ludens team has designed a pre-Valentine event especially for you, which will take place on February 12 in the center of Athens, to help you decide if there is a reason to celebrate officially on February 14.
The action lasts about 60 minutes, and depends on the "rhythm" and communication in your relationship.
Necessary equipment: Smartphone with QR Code Scanner and data, charged battery and camera. Comfortable shoes, humor, eagerness, good mood, patience, perseverance and courage to overcome whatever comes your way, with your partner as your only destination. You will receive the location of the secret starting point of the game when you register for the action. You will discover the final destination together - if you manage to meet each other in the end.
